The Shimi API gives your business everything it needs to move money in Nigeria: dedicated bank accounts for your customers, one-time virtual accounts for collections, payouts to any bank, corporate accounts, crypto deposits, prepaid cards, and airtime, data and bill payments.

## Before you start

You need three things from Shimi onboarding:

* An **approved KYB** and an active business account
* Your **company reference** (your company ID)
* Your **API key**
